Frances R. Douglas

Mrs. Frances R. Douglas age 88, of Jackson, TN passed away on Tuesday September 4, 2018 at her home in Jackson, TN.

Frances Douglas was a woman of faith who loved her God and family above all else. One of Frances' greatest passions was making music with her family starting in her early days in Memphis TN, singing in their church with her husband and two daughters. They were known as "The Douglas Family" and sang for church events all over the West TN area. Later in their retirement years, Frances continued to sing with her husband Jeff in the Jackson-Lexington-Parsons community entertaining and ministering to residents at assisted living and nursing home communities, as well as civic centers and other church and social events. Now heaven is filled with her beautiful song!

She is survived by her Husband, Jeff C. Douglas of Jackson, TN; Daughters, Vickie (Alan) Douglas Baranowski of Woodstock, GA; Lisa (Doug) Douglas Bonds of Bartlett, TN; Brother, Gaylon Yates of Beacon, TN; and two Step Grandchildren, Amy and Brad.

She was preceded in death by her Mother, Gladys Qwens Yates; Father, Cleburne Yates; Brother, Tony Yates; Sister, Neva Jo Shelby.

The Douglas Family will receive friends on Thursday September 6, 2018 from 4:00PM – 8:00PM at Parsons Mortuary. Visitation will resume on Friday September 7, 2018 from 11:00AM until time of service at the Mt. Tabor Church in Parsons, TN. Funeral Services will be held on Friday September 7, 2018 at 2:00PM at the Mt. Tabor Church in Parsons, TN. Burial will follow in the Dukes Cemetery.
