Gid Gibson Obituary

Mr. Gid Gibson age 86, of Parsons, TN passed away on Friday March 8, 2019 at his home in Parsons, TN.

He is survived by his Wife, Margaret Jones Gibson of Parson, TN.; Daughters, Mary Alice Gibson of Scotts Hill, TN., Abigayle Gibson of Middle, TN., Susan (William) Rimmer of Decaturville, TN.; Grandson, Will Rimmer.

He is preceded in death by his Mother, Edith Gibson; Father, Bird Gibson; Brothers, Burt Gibson, Mac Aruther, Issic Gibson; Sisters, Betty Wilson, Bonnelldan Ovich, Charlene Warren.

Mr. Gibson was an auctioneer and a farmer. He had a passion for his cows and loved farming the land.

The Gibson family will receive friends on Sunday March 10, 2019 from 9:30AM until 10:00PM. Visitation will continue on Monday March 11, 2019 from 9:00AM until time of service. Services will be held on Monday March 11, 2019 at 11:00AM in the Parsons Mortuary Chapel with burial to follow in the Jeanette Cemetery.
