Mrs. Jane Townsend Tate age 82, of Adamsville, TN passed away on Monday January 7, 2019 in Atlanta, GA.
She is survived by her Son, Christopher Wallace Powers (Amy) of Adamsville, TN; Daughter, Kayren Jane Samoly (Jim) of Sharpsburg, GA; Step-Sons, Barry Tate and Brian Tate; Step-Daughter, Deena Conner; Sister, Lucille Slais, 11 Grandchildren, 6 Great Grandchildren, and 3 Great Great Grandchildren
She is preceded in death by her Husbands, Wallace Powers and Thomas Tate; Mother, Berlie Curtis Townsend; Father, Cecil Townsend; Brothers, Bryon Townsend and Eugene Townsend; Sister, Estelle Pratt; Granddaughter, Grace Powers.
The Tate family will receive friends on Wednesday January 9, 2019 from 5:00PM until 8:00PM at Parsons Mortuary. Visitation will continue Thursday January 10, 2019 from 10:00AM until time of service at Parsons First Baptist Church. Services will be held on Thursday January 10, 2019 at 11:00AM at the Parsons First Baptist Church with burial to follow in the Crowell Chapel Cemetery.
