Mr. Joel D. Cates age 42, of Parsons, TN passed away on Friday January 17, 2020 at Decatur County General Hospital in Parsons, TN.

He is survived by his Wife; Melinda Hill Cates of Parsons, TN, Mother; Glenda (Dale) Tinin of Parsons, TN, Son, Jacob Cates of Parsons, TN, Daughter; Rachel Cates of Parsons, TN, Brother; Chris Tinin of Knoxville, TN, Sisters; Brittney Bedwell of Linden, TN, Katlyn Cates of Parsons, TN.

He is preceded in death by his Father; Virgil Cates.

Visitation with Mr. Joel's family will be held on Saturday January 18, 2020 from 1:00PM until 8:00PM at Parsons Mortuary. Visitation will continue on Sunday January 19, 2020 from 10:00AM until time of service. Funeral Services will be held on Sunday January 19, 2020 at 2:00PM in the Parsons Mortuary Chapel with burial to follow in the Rosson Cemetery in Parsons, TN.
