Mrs. Bettie Jo Boyd age 84 of Parsons, TN. passed away on Friday February 24, 2023 at her home in Parsons, TN.

She is survived by her daughter, Tina (Marty) Carrington of Parsons, TN; granddaughters, Lucinda Carrington and Ashley Bingham; special grandson, Wade Martin; great grandchildren, Ella Bullard and Abbie Bullard; special sister-in-law, Emma Montgomery of Lexington, TN.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Jr. Boyd; parents, Cordie & Roosevelt Essary; brothers, Maurice Essary and Glenn Essary; sister-in-law, Brooksie Wilkins.

Visitation for Mrs. Boyd will be held on Saturday February 25, 2023 from 12:00PM until 9:00PM at Parsons Mortuary. Visitation will continue on Sunday February 26, 2023 from 10:00AM until time of funeral service at Parsons Mortuary. Funeral services will be held on Sunday February 26, 2023 at 2:00PM in the Parsons Mortuary Chapel with burial to follow in the Crowell Chapel Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations made to the St. Jude Children's Hospital.
