Betty Jo Higgins

Mrs. Betty Jo Lockhart Higgins age 89 of Beacon,  TN passed away on Wednesday September 14, 2022 at AHC Decatur County in Parsons, TN.

Betty was born on January 14, 1933.

She is survived by her Sons, David (Joy) Higgins of Beacon, TN, and Michael Higgins of Chesterfield, TN; Daughter, Sharon (Danny) Scott of MISS; Sisters, Georgia Faye "Polly" Young of Dalton, AL, and Jane (Bill) Blankenship of Lexington, TN; Grandchildren, Bobby (Amanda) Crews of MISS, Bradley (Mindy) Scott of MISS, Andrea Higgins of Kenton, TN, Brandy Higgins of Chattanooga, TN, Akesha (Nicky) Johnson of Lexington, TN, Wendy (Brad) Surratt of Adamsville, TN, Nathan (Becky) Patterson of Beacon, TN, Hunter Higgins of Chesterfield, TN, Dustin (Kristian) Higgins of Chesterfield, TN; 21 Great Grandchildren; 2 Great Grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her Parents, Hettie & George Lockhart; Husband; E. L. Higgins; Daughter, Leigh Ann Ivey; Son-in-law, Ricky Ivey; Daughter-in-law, Julie Higgins; Brother-in-law, O. C. Young Jr.; 1 Great Grandson.

Visitation for Mrs. Betty will be held on Friday September 16, 2022 from 10:00AM until 8:00PM. Visitation will continue on Saturday September 17, 2022 from 10:00AM until time of funeral service. Funeral services will be held on Saturday September 17, 2022 at 2:00PM in the Parsons Mortuary Chapel with burial to follow in the Dukes Cemetery. Bro. Johnny Owens officiating.
