Billy Joe Blankenship

Mr. Billy Joe Blankenship age, 89 of Lexington, TN passed away on Monday October 7, 2024, at Henderson County Hospital in Lexington, TN.

He is survived by his wife whom he married in December 5, 1959 and enjoyed 64 years of marriage with, Jane Blankenship of Lexington, TN; son, Clay (Teresa) Blankenship of Beacon, TN; daughter, Christy (David) Wyatt of Scotts Hill, TN; brother, Alford Blankenship of Lexington, TN; sister, Susan (John) Denton of Birdsong, TN; grandchildren, Joshua (Keisha) Blankenship of Savannah, TN, Brent Blankenship of Parsons, TN, Caleb (Courtney) Wyatt of Jackson, TN, Tonia (Terry) Autry of Clarksburg, TN; great grandchildren, Molly, Montana, Trinity, Carlie, Libby. 

He is preceded in death by his parents, Tealie Blankenship and Grady Blankenship; Infant Daughter; sister, Paula Rainey; brother-in-law, Kenneth Rainey.

Visitation for Mr. Blankenship will be held on Wednesday Oct. 9, 2024, from 10:00AM until 9:00PM at Parsons Mortuary. Visitation will continue on Thursday Oct. 10, 2024, from 9:00AM until time of service. Funeral services will be held on Thursday Oct. 10, 2024, at 2:00PM in the Parsons Mortuary Chapel with burial to follow in the Dukes Cemetery in Darden, TN.
