Danny E. Townsend

Mr. Danny E. Townsend age 74 of Parsons, TN  passed away on Wednesday April 27, 2022 at Jackson Madison County Hospital in Jackson, TN.

Mr. Townsend proudly served his country as a member of The United States Navy.

He is survived by his wife, Agnes Graves Townsend of Parsons, TN; daughters, Terra (Shannon) Blackstock of Parsons, TN, April (Adam) Brasher of Medina, TN; Step-Daughters, Charlotte (Mark) Taylor of Decaturville, TN, Andrea (Glynn) Adkins of Bath Springs, TN; brother, Curtis Townsend of Parsons, TN; sister, Linda Harrington of Decaturville, TN, Penny Tucker of Scotts Hill, TN, and Peggy Norman of Parsons, TN; 12 Grandchildren; 10 Great Grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Ruth Townsend and Byron Townsend; brother, Gene Townsend; sister, Susan Waller.

Visitation for Mr. Danny will be on Friday April 29, 2022 from 5:00PM until 9:00PM. Visitation will continue on Saturday April 30, 2022 from 11:00AM until time of service. A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday April 30, 2022 at 1:00PM in the Parsons Mortuary Chapel. Burial will follow at a later date in the Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery at Parkers Crossroads.
