Mr. Douglas McArthur Box age 79 of Parsons, TN passed away on Tuesday November 26, 2024, at Hardin Medical Center in Savannah, TN.

He is survived by his son, David Lee Box of Parsons, TN; daughter, Melody Lynn Hayes of Parsons, TN; brothers, Charles Gene Box of Lexington, TN, Billy Box of Dyersburg, TN, Edward Box of Parsons, TN, and Larry Box of Parsons, TN; sister, Mayrene Pratt of Tiptonville, TN; grandchildren, Madison Hayes, William Hayes, Daniel Hayes, Michael Box, and Rachel Box all of Parsons, TN; 4 great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Raynell Box; parents, Ula & Loy Box; brothers, J.B. Box, Junior Box, and Tommy Box; sisters, Lavone Hosford, Sue Baker, Hauruth Witson, and Helen Mays. 

Mr. Box's visitation will be held on Friday November 29, 2024, from 10:00AM until 8:00PM at Parsons Mortuary. Visitation will continue on Saturday November 30, 2024, from 10:00AM until time of funeral service. Funeral services will be held on Saturday November 30, 2024, at 2:00PM in the Parsons Mortuary Chapel with burial to follow in the New Prospect Cemetery in Holladay, TN.
