Dr. Carver E. "Doc" Wentworth

Dr. Carver E. "Doc" Wentworth age 82, of Parsons, TN passed away on Thursday April 17, 2025, at his home in Parsons, TN.

Dr. Wentworth grew up in Jackson, Tennessee and graduated from Jackson High School. He received his Doctor of Chiropractic (DC) degree at Logan Chiropractic College in St. Louis, Missouri and took his residency internship at Spears Chiropractic Hospital, Denver, Colorado. He began practicing in 1966 with the license number of 94 in Tennessee. He served many patients at his Perryville, Tennessee office where he became affectionately known as "Doc. He was an active member of the American Chiropractic Association and Tennessee Chiropractic Association for many years. Doc served in the Tennessee National Guard as well.

Carver spent many summers as a teenager at his Aunt and Uncle's ranch in Colorado on the Tarryall River. It was here he began his love of the outdoors, horses, hunting and farming. His love of being a cattle farmer was lifelong. He was a member of the Beacon Church of Christ.

He is survived by his wife, Wanda Wentworth of Parsons, TN; children, Benjamin (Britney) Williams of Maury City, TN, Brennen Williams of Nashville, TN, and Bethany (Kyle) Livingston of Sardis, MS; grandchildren, Carson Williams, Charlie Williams, and Audrey Livingston; nephews, Jonathan Wentworth and Jay Wentworth; niece, Andrea Henrie.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Patricia "Miss Pat" Wentworth, parents, Virginia & Dr. Wendell Wentworth; brother, Dr. Logan E. Wentworth; sister, Virginia Ellen. 

Visitation for Mr. Wentworth will be held on Friday April 18, 2025, from 5:00PM until 8:00PM at Parsons Mortuary. Visitation will continue on Saturday April 19, 2025, from 11:00AM until time of funeral service at Parsons Mortuary Funeral services will be held on Saturday April 19, 2025, at 1:00PM in the Parsons Mortuary Chapel with burial to follow in the Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
