Eddie "Tom" James

Mr. Eddie "Tom" James age 77 of Bath Springs, TN. passed away on Wednesday February 8, 2023 at his home in Bath Springs, TN.

He retired in 2007 after 30 plus years as a First Mate on the Towboat with the A.R.T Company. He was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Parsons, TN and a member of the Center Masonic Lodge in Bath Springs, TN.

He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Pat James of Bath Springs, TN; daughter, Missy Hutson of Parsons, TN; sister, Betty Jo Grant of Chattanooga, TN; grandchildren, Zack Scott and Jacqueline Elliott; sisters-in-law, Robbie James, Minnie James, and Jane Pugh; special friend & brother-in-law, Hugh Pugh; several nieces & nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Walter & Haughtie James; daughter, Gwen James, brothers, Junior James and Bobby James, sister, Audrey Crawley.

Visitation for Mr. James will be held on Friday February 10, 2023 from 10:00AM until 2:30PM in the Parsons Mortuary Chapel. Graveside Services will be held on Friday February 10, 2023 at 3:00PM in the Concord Cemetery in Decaturville, TN. Bro. Greg Stanford officiating.
