Francine F. Box

Francine Faulkner Box was welcomed into her Heavenly home on June 9, 2026, at Skyline Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee, surrounded by the love of her family. Her departure leaves an immeasurable void in the hearts of those who knew and loved her, but her legacy of devotion and unwavering love will live on for generations.

Born to Herbert Earl Faulkner and Lillie Estelle Rosson Faulkner, Francine was the eldest of four daughters. From an early age, she possessed a nurturing spirit that would become the hallmark of her life.

The greatest love story of her life was shared with her beloved husband, Tommy Loumorris Box. Together they built a family that became Francine’s greatest pride and purpose. She fulfilled her lifelong dream of motherhood through her children: April Michelle Box, Nicholas Matthew Tommy Box, and Ashley Kristen Nicole Box. She loved her children fiercely and unconditionally, finding her greatest accomplishments not in what she achieved, but in the family she cherished. Francine was also a devoted caregiver to her daughter Ashley. Her patience, strength, and unwavering devotion were a testament to the depth of a mother’s love.

Francine found joy in life’s simple beauties. She loved shopping, took great pride in her sewing, and could often be found tending to her flowers. Yet no hobby or pastime compared to the happiness she found in loving others. 

She was affectionately known as “Nanny” to her nieces and nephews whom she claimed as her own, showering them with the same boundless love she gave her children. Her family will forever smile when they remember the colorful expressions she was known for and the laughter that followed. She loved to “pick” at those she loved most, teasing them affectionately and always keeping everyone on their toes.

Her most treasured title, however, was “Nana.” Her grandchildren, Ellie Pearl and John-Luke Box, hung the moon in her eyes. They were the light of her life, her greatest delight, and the source of so many cherished memories.

Francine was preceded in death by her parents, Herbert Earl Faulkner and Lillie Estelle Faulkner; her beloved husband, Tommy Box; and her precious daughter, April Michelle Box.

Left to cherish her memory are her son, Nick (Supriya) Box; her daughter, Ashley Box; her grandchildren, Ellie Pearl and John-Luke Box; her sisters, Maxine (Kenneth) Dickson, Darla Jean (Larry) Box, and Christine Diane (Don) Carlson; along with a host of nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends who were blessed by her love and presence.

Though her earthly journey has ended, the love she gave and the memories she created will remain forever in the hearts of those she leaves behind.

Visitation for Mrs. Box will be held on Thursday June 11, 2026, from 4:00PM until 8:00PM at Parsons Mortuary. Visitation will continue on Friday June 12, 2026, from 1:00PM until time of funeral service. Funeral services will be held Friday June 12, 2026, at 3:00PM in the Parsons Mortuary Chapel with burial to follow in the Box Cemetery in Parsons, TN.
