Ginger L. Powers passed away Sunday May 28tn at Jackson Madison County General Hospital. 

Ginger was born September 7, 1976 to her parents Wendell "Peaches" & Adele Powers.

After graduating from Riverside High School Ginger completed schooling to work as a veterinarian tech as she had a great love for animals. Years later she pursued a career as a floral designer. Ginger loved the outdoors. Hunting, Hiking, and especially gardening. She had a special knack for placing flowers and making beautiful & unique arrangements.

Ginger was a loving Partner, Mother, Daughter, Sister, and Friend.

She was preceded in death by her father Wendell "Peaches" Powers.

She is survived by her mother Adele Powers, sister Vickie Powers, brother Keith Powers (Valerie), nephew Carter, daughter, Riley Powers, life partner Brian Sudweeks, daughter, Alura Sudweeks, step-daughter Kylee Sudweeks, step-son Skyler Sudweeks (Katherine), step-grandsons Denver Webb & Cooper Webb and perhaps her favorite.. a family French Bulldog named Rhett.

Visitation for Ms. Powers will be held on Sunday June 18, 2023 from 10:00AM until time of service. Celebration of life services will be held on Sunday June 18, 2023 at 2:00PM in the Parsons Mortuary Chapel.
