Obituary

Mr. Harold "Mac" McCaskill age 87 of Parsons passed away on Thursday July 13, 2023 at Henderson County Community Hospital in Lexington, TN.

Mr. McCaskill proudly served our great nation for 20 years in the US Navy. He later worked at the Turney Center Prison in Clifton, TN for 22 years. Mr. McCaskill was proud to be a Republican and served the Lord as a member of the Baptist Faith.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Gertrude & J. D. McCaskill; sister, Nina Vaccaro; brother, Manley McCaskill; grandson, David Smith.

He is survived by his wife, Katherine McCaskill of Parsons, TN; son, Randy McCaskill; daughters, Cheryl Staples, Sandra Kline, and Rene Hampton; step-sons, Palmer (Debbie) Stout of Parsons, TN, Jeff (Christy) Stout of Parsons, TN; step-daughter, Sherry (Donald) Tyndall; grandchildren, Adam Staples, Aricia Staples, Lindsey Brown, Nathan Fish, Jace McCaskill, Denver McCaskill; 10 step-grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; numerous step-great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held on Sunday July 16, 2023 at 2:00PM in the Crossroads Cemetery in Parsons, TN.
