Herbert "Pat" Wortham

Mr. Herbert Patterson Wortham of Parsons, TN passed away on July 19th, 2024 after a long illness.

Mr. Wortham turned 66 on June 8th of this year.

He was a known celebrity on News Talk 96.5 FM Jackson, TN Live Stream & Breaking News, Talk, & Weather. He would call in regularly with a daily joke. The name he went by was PW. They called him "The Mayor of Parsons".

Pat was a lifelong bachelor of Parsons. He was well liked throughout the town.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Herbert Wortham & Georgia Wortham.

He is survived by his cousins Ron Wortham of Parsons, TN, Darlene (Danny) Williams of Millington, TN and Marlene (Daniel) Goodson of Chester, SC.

Memorial Services will be held Thursday, July 25th, 1:00pm at Parsons Mortuary, 134 W 2nd St, Parsons, TN 38363. Burial will follow services in the Parsons City Cemetery in Parsons, TN.
