James A. Bell

Mr. James A. Bell, age 101, of Parsons, TN passed away on Tuesday, August 5, 2025, at AHC Decatur County in Parsons, TN.

He is survived by his son, Johnny (Sharon) Bell of Parsons, TN; daughters, Joy (Phil) Threet of Parsons, TN, and Joanna Northcutt of Scotts Hill, TN; grandchildren, Luke (Rachel) Smith, Daniel (Nichole) Smith, Brandi (Ronnie) Hill, Alex (Mallory) Bell, Allie (Ryan) Philpott, Laura (Wesley) Long, and Erin (Chase) Pearcy; 20 great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, and a host of extended family members.

He is preceded by his wife, Juanita Bell; parents, Zoedie & George Bell; brothers, Wilfred Bell and Grady Bell; sisters, Juanita Long, Martha Mae Blunt, and Agnes Sharp.

Visitation for Mr. Bell will be held on Wednesday Aug. 6, 2025, from 4:00PM until 8:00PM at Parsons Mortuary. Visitation will resume on Thursday Aug. 7, 2025, from 11:00AM until the funeral service. Funeral services will be held on Thursday Aug. 7, 2025, at 3:00PM in the Parsons Mortuary Chapel with burial to follow in the Crossroads Cemetery in Parsons, TN.
