James "Chunk" King

Mr. James "Chunk" King, age 86, of Parsons, TN, passed away on Wednesday, January 22, 2025, at him home in Parsons, TN.

He is survived by his wife, Lyndall Garrett King of Parsons, TN; sons, James Stephen (Pam) King of Collierville, TN and Mickey King of Parsons, TN; grandchildren, Steffi (Micah) Harden, Mitch (Emahn) King, Sam King, Jacob King, and Caleb King; great grandchildren, Hadley Harden and Tessa Harden.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Essie & P.C. King; foster daughter, Carla Moore Hudgins; brothers, Joe Leonard King and Thomas King; sister, Betty Bivens. 

Visitation for Mr. King will be held on Friday Jan. 24, 2025, from 1:00PM until 8:00PM at Parsons Mortuary. Visitation will continue on Saturday Jan. 25, 2025, from 12:00PM until time of funeral service. Funeral services will be held on Saturday Jan. 25, 2025, at 2:00PM in the Parsons Mortuary Chapel with burial to follow in the Sardis Ridge Cemetery in Parsons, TN.
