James Robert "Jimmy" Perkins

Mr. James Robert "Jimmy" Perkins, age 74, of Decaturville, TN, passed away on Monday, February 17, 2025, at AHC Savannah in Savannah, TN. 

Mr. Perkins proudly served our nation in the Army during the Vietnam War. He also retired after many years from TVA New Johnsonville Fossil Plant.

He is survived by his mother, Patsy Jean Moore of Decaturville, TN; daughter, Felicia Perkins Smith of Decatuville, TN; granddaughter, Halen Smith of Decaturville, TN; special daughter, Brandy Ayers of Decaturville, TN; special grandson, Aden Ayers of Decaturville, TN, brothers, Don (Rita) Moore of Decaturville, TN and Kenny (Nancy) Perkins of Bethel Springs, TN; nephews, Dane Moore of Decaturville, TN and Flint Perkins of Scotts Hill, TN, as well as many friends. 

He is preceded in death by his father, J. M. Perkins; stepfather, Ralph L. Moore; sister, Brenda Bennett; special grandson, Cameron Pevahouse. 

Visitation for Mr. Perkins will be held on Tuesday Feb. 18, 2025, from 4:00PM until 8:00PM at Parsons Mortuary. Visitation will continue on Wednesday Feb. 19, 2025, from 10:00AM until time of funeral service. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday Feb. 19, 2025, at 2:00PM in the Parsons Mortuary Chapel with burial to follow in the Decaturville City Cemetery in Decaturville, TN Bro. Kenny Mullinax officiating.
