Jason Pearcy

Mr. Jason Pearcy, age 49, of Parsons, TN passed away Thursday, March 3, 2022, at St. Thomas West in Nashville, TN. 

Jason was an avid sports fan, Jeopardy guru, Tennessean crossword puzzle enthusiast. He loved to aggravate his nieces and to play a good game of HORSE with his son and nephew. He could always persuade his bonus daughter to give him a good head scratch. Often up for a battle of wits with his daughter, with Jason often falling short. He lived for the family debates and according to him, he never lost. Jason was a long time member of the Parsons Church of Christ.

He is survived by his Mother; Judy K. Pearcy of Parsons, TN, Father; Joe L. Pearcy of Parsons, TN, Fiance'; Cassi Keeton of Decaturville, TN, Son; John Lawson Pearcy of Parsons, TN, Daughter; Caroline Pearcy of Parsons, TN, Bonus Child; Kate Reeves of Decaturville, TN, Sister; Jodonna (Mark) Mathis of Parsons, TN, Nieces & Nephew whom always called him "Bubby"; Gage Mathis, Danielle Mathis, Emmerey Mathis, and Ashton Mathis all of Parsons, TN.

He was preceded in death by his Daughter; Hillary Anne Pearcy, Grandparents; Youel & Dee Dee Arrington, Curt & Vera Pearcy, and Bonus Grandmother; Ruby Coleman.

Visitation will be held on Saturday March 5, 2022, from 2:00 PM until 8:00PM. Visitation will continue on Sunday March 6, 2022 from 11:00AM until time of funeral service. Funeral services will be held on Sunday March 6, 2022 at 2:00PM in the Parsons Mortuary Chapel with burial to follow in the Judson Cemetery. Bro. David Wright officiating. 

In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to the Decatur County Bank in honor of Jason Pearcy to the Hillary Pearcy Memorial Scholarship.
