Joe Vaughn "Papa Joe"

Mr. Joe Vaughn "Papa Joe" age 60 of Darden, TN passed away on Wednesday July 17, 2024, at his home in Darden, TN.

Joe was a retired law enforcement officer with 31 years of service to his community. He leaves behind many family friends and a huge Blue Family. Joe also loved bluegrass music and loved to pick his guitar and banjo in his free time!

He is survived by his wife, Tammy Vaughn; sons, Coty (Jessica) Hollingsworth, Casey (Shelbie) Hollingsworth, and Briley Reeves; daughter, Brandi Reeves; sister, Anna Marie Vaughn Lowe; grandchildren, Benji Hollingsworth, Spencer Hollingsworth, Hudson Hollingsworth, Josh Hollingsworth, Woods Hollingsworth, Ashlyn Reeves, and Brantley Reeves; and a lifelong friend Sheriff Dale King. 

He is preceded in death by his parents, Vernon Vaughn & Rebecca Vaughn. 

A visitation for Mr. Vaughn will be held on Friday July 19, 2024 from 5:00PM until 9:00PM at the Calvary Baptist Church in Parsons, TN. Visitation will continue on Saturday July 20, 2024 at Calvary Baptist Church from 9:00AM until time of funeral service. Funeral services will be on Saturday July 20, 2024 at 2:00PM at the Calvary Baptist Church with burial to follow in the Box Cemetery in Parsons, TN 

To know Joe was to love him! Till we meet again in heaven, we will hold you in our hearts and cherish all the memories you gave us.
