Laverne Bawcum Obituary

Mrs. Laverne Bawcum age 78, of Jackson passed away on Tuesday Feb. 13, 2024 at her home in Jackson, TN.

She is survived by special friends Steve Cantrell & Carol McClure as well as several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents Anna Lea Evans Oxford & James Oxford; husband, Bobby Bawcum; brother, Glen Oxford; sisters, Lois Oxford Colwick, Gladie Oxford Ledbetter, Edith Quinn, Arlou Lucas, and Wilma Scaffer.

Mrs. Bawcum's visitation will be held on Friday February 16, 2024 from 5:00PM until 8:00PM at Parsons Mortuary. Visitation will continue on Saturday February 17, 2024 from 11:00AM until time of funeral service. Funeral services will be held on Saturday February 17, 2024 at 1:00PM in the Parsons Mortuary Chapel with burial to follow in the Dukes Cemetery. Bro. Ronnie Geary officiating.
