Leeta McKnight Cates

Mrs. Leeta McKnight Cates age 88 of Parsons, TN. passed away on Saturday January 28, 2023 at Houston County Hospital in Erin, TN.

She is survived by her daughter, Jo Ann Roach of Parsons, TN; sisters, Mary Love Rhodes of Linden, TN, and Margaret Ivey of Parsons, TN; grandchildren, Ricky Lynn Cook, Erica Keeton, Kaelyn Brooke Vaughan, Tina Roach, Amy Warbritton, and Nila Roach; 7 Great Grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Willie Cates; parents, Lillie & Arbin McKnight; son, Virgil Cates; daughter, Resia Keeton; brothers, Ellis McKnight and Amos McKnight; sisters, Letha Hicks, Onita Carlton, and Virginia Hinson; grandson, Joel Cates.

Visitation for Mrs. Cates will be held on Monday January 30, 2023 from 4:00PM until 8:00PM at Parsons Mortuary. Visitation will continue on Tuesday January 31, 2023 from 11:00AM until time of funeral service at Parsons Mortuary. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday January 31, 2023 at 1:00PM in the Parsons Mortuary Chapel with burial to follow in the Weems Cemetery.
