Linda Brawley Mays

Mrs. Linda Mays, age 73, of Parsons, Tennessee, passed away on June 2, 2026, at Jackson-Madison County Hospital in Jackson, Tennessee.

Mrs. Mays is survived by her grandchildren, Jayce Mays and Cheyanna Mays; her daughters, Darla (Raymond) Smart, Sharron (Kenneth) Reeves, and Marsha (Tony) Johnson; her brothers, Brown (Joyce) Brawley, Author Junior (Libby) Brawley, and Robert (Willie Jo) Brawley; her sister, Dorothy Dollar; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and a host of extended family members.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Gracie and Author Brawley; her husband, Edward Mays; her son, Cameron Mays; her brothers, While Brawley, E.T. Brawley, and James Brawley; and her sisters, Mary Priest, Virginia Brawley, Daisy Webster, Ailene Brawley, Elizabeth "Libby" Sherrod, and Lorene Spain.

Visitation for Mrs. Mays will be held on Thursday, June 4, 2026, from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Parsons Mortuary. Visitation will continue on Friday, June 5, 2026, from 10:00 AM until the time of service.

Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, June 5, 2026, at 2:00 PM in the Parsons Mortuary Chapel, with burial to follow in Bear Creek Cemetery in Parsons, Tennessee.
