Margaret Pinkley

Mrs. Margaret Pinkley age 72 of Lexington, TN. passed away on Monday January 9, 2023 at Jackson Madison County Hospital in Jackson, TN.

Margaret graduated from Sardis High school, where she was a cheerleader and "Miss Sardis High School 1969." She attended Jackson State Community College (where she met her husband) and The University of Tennessee at Martin, where she obtained a Bachelor's in Elementary Education. She was a First and Second grade teacher during her career. 

Margaret loved children, especially babies. They all naturally gravitated to her. Being a grandmother or "Memommy" was her favorite. She also loved to read, travel, shop, collect Christmas ornaments from everywhere she had been, interior decorating, and watching HGTV and Hallmark movies. 

She is survived by her husband of 50 years; Danny Pinkley of Lexington, TN, daughters; Marla (Mike) Keeley of Edmond, OK, Meredith (Rob) Conner of Memphis, TN, brother; John Henry Green of Mt. Juliet, TN, sister; Ann Ross of Hookers Bend, TN, grandchildren; Abby Keeley, Jackson Keeley, and Thomas Keeley all of Memphis, TN.

She is preceded in death by her parents; Louise & C. L. Green.

Visitation for Mrs. Margaret Pinkley will be held on Wednesday January 11, 2023 from 4:00PM until 8:00PM at Parsons Mortuary. Visitation will continue on Thursday January 12, 2023 from 11:00AM until time of funeral service at Parsons Mortuary. Funeral services will be held on Thursday January 12, 2023 at 1:00PM in the Parsons Mortuary Chapel with burial to follow in the Mt. Ararat Cemetery. Bro. Don Franks officiating.
