Max Chumney

Mr. Max Earl Chumney, 60, of Parsons, TN, passed away on Monday, December 30, 2024, at his home surrounded by his family.

He loved hunting, fishing, playing softball, and arrowhead hunting. He was a member of Trinity Assembly of God.

He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Renee Douglas Chumney; three daughters, Hannah Chumney, Holly (Cameron) Kohl, and Haley Chumney; one granddaughter, Sophia Kohl; mother, Betty Littlejohn; sister, Fredia (Tim) Baker; host of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father K.D. Chumney, brother, Jerry Maness.

The family will receive visitors at Parsons Mortuary on Wednesday, Jan. 1, 2025, from 11:00A.M. –  9:00P.M., and then again from 10:00A.M. until time of service at 2:00P.M. in the Parsons Mortuary Chapel on Thursday Jan. 2, 2025. Burial will take place at Bible Hill Cemetery.
