Max D. Wallace

Mr. Max D. Wallace age 77 of Parsons, TN passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on  May 3, 2024 at his home.

Mr. Wallace started serving the community of Decatur County at the young age of 10 working at Ready Supermarket. He continued work with his brother at two stores and at several grocery stores over the years. He later retired from Leroy Somer after 25 years. Mr. Wallace was a faithful member of the Faith Baptist Church for over 50 years.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years 11 months Mrs. Ann Bunch Wallace of Parsons, TN; daughter, April Wallace Morgan of Parsons, TN; brother, James E. “Jimmy” Wallace of Parsons, TN; granddaughter, Laura Morgan of Lexington, TN; grandson, Clay (Bri) Taylor of Murfreesburo, TN

He is preceded in death by his parents, Esco & Beulah Wilkins Wallace; daughter, Gina Wallace Taylor; brother, Earl Wallace; sister, Ceva Gilbert; grandson, Jon Michael Taylor.

Visitation for Mr. Wallace will be held on Saturday May 4, 2024 from 2:00PM until 9:00PM at Parsons Mortuary. Visitation will continue on Sunday May 5, 2024 from 10:00AM until time of funeral service. Funeral services will be held on Sunday May 5, 2024 at 2:00PM in the Parsons Mortuary chapel with burial to follow in the Hopewell Cemetery. Bro. Sam McAdams officiating.
