Mike "Salty" Yarbro Obituary

Mike "Salty" Yarbro age 75 of Parsons, TN passed away Monday June 27, 2022 at Camden Healthcare And Rehabilitation Center.

Mike Yarbro graduated from Decaturville High School in 1965. After graduating high school, he proudly served his country through two tours in Vietnam as a member of the United States Navy Seabee-unit MCB62. Mike and Frances Comer Yarbro were married for over 53 years. He drove a truck for Ward Grain Co. for 8 years and later retired from the New Johnsonville TVA. After retirement, he returned to work as a loader operator and truck driver at Teague Sand and Gravel for 18 years. Mike was a Master Mason of Parsons Lodge 586. He preached at Lord's Missionary Baptist Church for 30 years. Mike loved to hunt, fish, and participate in anything outdoors. Things he loved and cherished the most was his loving wife, family, and friends. Hard working, compassionate, and giving are just a few ways to describe his loving nature.

He is survived by his Wife, Fran Yarbro of Parsons, TN; Son, Todd (Leanne) Yarbro of Parsons, TN; Sister, Martha Kindle of Sparta, TN; Grandchildren, Erica Sills, Laken Davis, Lee Yarbro, Shelby Yarbro, Jake Yarbro, and Johnson Yarbro; Great Grandchild, Rylynn Yarbro; Niece, Aunt B.

He is preceded in death by his Parents, Nora Yarbro & Jacob Yarbro; Son, Scott Yarbro.

Visitation for Mr. Yarbro will be held on Wednesday June 29, 2022 from 2:00PM until 10:00PM at Parsons Mortuary. Visitation will continue on Thursday June 30, 2022 from 10:00AM until time of funeral service. Funeral services will be held on Thursday June 30, 2022 at 2:00PM in the Parsons Mortuary Chapel with burial to follow in the Campground Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers the family request donations made to the Campgound Church Cemetery Fund.
