Nathan D. Johnson Obituary

Mr. Nathan D. Johnson age 78 of Parsons, TN passed away peacefully at his home on Friday Nov. 3, 2023.

Nathan proudly served in the United States Navy aboard the troop transport ship USS Pickaway during the Vietnam War. He retired in 2012 from Columbus McKinnon Corporation in Lexington, as an Electrical Electronics Technician. He was a faithful member of Trinity Assembly and the Trinity choir.

He is survived by his wife Wilma Beasley Johnson of Parsons, TN; son, Jonathon (Andrea) Johnson of Parsons, TN; brother, Joe Lee (Shirley) Johnson of Parsons, TN; sister, Karen (Phillip) Gulledge of Holladay, TN; grandchildren, Lain Johnson & Andon Johnson of Parsons, TN; and several loved nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, J. A. "Hoss" Johnson & Mondelea Evans Johnson; brother, Mack Johnson.

A visitation for Mr. Johnson will be held on Sunday Nov. 5, 2023, from 12:00PM until 8:00PM at Parsons Mortuary. Visitation will continue on Monday Nov. 6, 2023, from 11:00AM until the time of funeral service at the Trinity Assembly of God in Decaturville, TN. Funeral services will be held on Monday Nov. 6, 2023, at 2:00PM at the Trinity Assembly of God in Decaturville, TN with burial to follow in the Trinity Cemetery.
