Patricia "Pat" Reeves

Patricia Jean Reeves (mostly known as Pat or Patty) passed from this life Dec. 15, 2022 at her home in Darden, TN. after a lengthy illness.

Patricia was born Nov. 11, 1934 in Thompsonville, ILL to Gladys and Charles Dorris.

She had a colorful childhood, living in many states. Her favorite was living in the lodge at Tishomingo State Park in Miss. Lastly her parents moved to Parsons, TN. where she attended High School. In 1950 she married the handsome blue eyed Ross Reeves and the made their home in Darden, TN.

One of her greatest attributes was her faithfulness to her church. She held many roles there over her 70 year membership. She taught Sunday School for many years, was secretary, treasurer, and ladies leader.

She enjoyed and loved her grandchildren, great grandchildren, and recently a great great grandson very much.

Many times her family would witness a bad situation turning out good and say "Mama's been praying." To us this is her greatest legacy. She will be greatly missed.

She is survived by a daughter Kathryn Reeves of Darden, and a son Ronnie Reeves of Parsons. Her grandchildren are Jennifer Rigsby (Scott), Ryan Reeves (Brittney), Conner Reeves, and Darby Tolley (Jesse). She leaves seven great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild.

Visitation for Mrs. Reeves will be held on Friday Dec. 16, 2022 from 4:00PM until 8:00PM at Parsons Mortuary. Visitation will continue on Saturday Dec. 17, 2022 from 12:00PM until time of funeral service at the Darden Pentecostal Church. Funeral services will be held on Saturday Dec. 17, 2022 at 2:00PM at the Darden Pentecostal Church with burial to follow in the Darden Cemetery. Bro. Ronnie Parrish officiating.
