Mr. Raymond "Ramrod" Elvington, age 71, of Parsons, TN, passed away on Saturday, January 11, 2025, at Bear Creek Healthcare in Parsons, TN.

He is survived by his wife, Judy Elvington of Bath Springs, TN; sons, Little Ray (Brook) Elvington of Bath Springs, TN and Raymond Elvington of Jackson, TN; daughters, Peggy Coker of Decaturville, TN, Latonia (John) Holifield of Tiptonville, TN, and Rebecca Tubbs of Parsons, TN; sisters, Pearl Elvington of Sardis, TN and Linda Bailey of Reagan, TN; 17 Grandchildren; 7 Great Grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Leathy & Troy Elvington; brothers, Jim Elvington, Junior Elvington, and Tom Elvington; sister, Brenda Mooney.

Visitation for Mr. Elvington will be held on Friday Jan. 17, 2025, from 9:00AM until time of funeral service. Funeral services will be held on Friday Jan. 17, 2025, at 1:00PM in the Parsons Mortuary Chapel with burial to follow in the Oak Grove Methodist Cemetery in Scotts Hill, TN.
