Richard Lee Hendon

Mr. Richard Lee Hendon, age 74, of Decaturville, Tennessee passed away on Wednesday, July 16, 2025, at his home in Decaturville, TN.

He is survived by his son, Nicholas Lee Hendon of Decaturville, TN; daughter, Katie (Bart) Wilson of Lexington, TN; sister, Linda (Johnny) Wheat of Clifton, TN; grandchildren, Anna Wilson, Brayden Wilson, and Gavin Wilson; special niece, Charity “Peedle” Pearcy of Savannah, TN.

He is preceded by his parents, Edna King “Mom Mom” Hendon & Clifton Hendon; sister, Ann Hendon.

Visitation for Mr. Hendon will be held on Thursday July 17, 2025, from 4:00PM until 8:00PM at Parsons Mortuary. Visitation will resume on Friday July 18, 2025, from 9:00AM until the funeral service. Funeral services will be held on Friday July 18, 2025, at 2:00PM in the Parsons Mortuary Chapel with burial to follow in the Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
