Robin White Montgomery Obituary

Mrs. Robin White Montgomery, age 48 of Scotts Hill, TN passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on May 13, 2025, in Knoxville, TN.

Robin was the definition of love. Her compassion was never-ending and her dedication to serving others was unwavering. She was selfless, constantly giving all she had to offer to the people in her life, big or small. Her kindness radiated to everyone, young or old, but especially to the children she has impacted throughout her life. Anyone who knew Robin could see her love for children through her interactions with them; from those who called her ‘Mrs. Robin’ to those who called her ‘Birdie,’ she had a special way to connect with each one.

Robin has dedicated her life to serving others, from working at the Carl Perkins Center as a family advocate, to Parsons Elementary School as the guidance counselor, to being the best Birdie. She has impacted so many lives throughout her careers, always focusing on how she can make each day a little bit brighter for every person she encountered.

Robin loved nothing more than spending time with her two children, Caitlyn and Mason. Whether it was fun vacations or simply watching a movie together, the moments she spent with them were her favorite. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially holidays. She was the family event planner for every holiday, celebration, girls trip, or whatever else she could do to bring everyone together. Honestly, her favorite thing was her family. She enjoyed reading, decorating, exercising, and the sight of an Amazon package on her doorstep.

Her faith is what drove her daily, especially through her toughest trials, she never wavered. She was a prominent member at the Beacon church of Christ, where she grew up. She served the church and people there constantly, never missing an opportunity to show God’s love. She was, and still is, the example of how to be more Christ-like.

She is survived by her parents, Mary & Robert White of Parsons, TN; husband, Jeff Montgomery of Scotts Hill, TN; daughter, Caitlyn Joy (Addison) Butler of Athens, TN; son, Mason Montgomery (Savannah Saylors) of McMinnville, TN; sisters, Tammy (Bubba) Brasher of Parsons, TN, Vickie Brasher of Parsons, TN, and Barbara (Hank) Ivey of Bath Springs, TN; mother & father-in-law, Beverly (Danny) Montgomery, she is also survived by a host of extended family members, friends, and loved ones who she cherished dearly.

She is preceded by her brother-in-law, Doug Brasher.
