Mr. Sammy Cagle age 74 of Lexington, TN. passed away on Saturday January 21, 2023 at Jackson Madison County Hospital in Jackson, TN. 

Sammy proudly served his and surrounding communities as manager of Parsons Mortuary for 29 years.

He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Gayle Cagle of Lexington, TN; daughters, Julia (Stephen) Stanfill of Lexington, TN, Kim (Butch) Peterson of Lexington, TN; son, Jerrod Cagle of Lexington, TN; grandchildren, Shae Stanfill of Lexington, TN, Spence Stanfill of Lexington, TN, Anabeth Stanfill of Lexington, TN, Jessica Wood of Lexington, TN, Charlie (McKell) Wood of Parsons, TN, Carson Cagle of Lexington, TN, Carly Cagle of Lexington, TN, Colby Cagle of Lexington, TN, and Cayson Cagle of Lexington, TN; great grandchildren, Paxton Wood of Parsons, TN, James Wood of Lexington, TN, Lexi Wood of Lexington, TN, Grey Wood of Lexington, TN.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Guy Mack & Alice Cagle; sister, Cornelia Sorrell.

Visitation for Mr. Sammy Cagle will be held on Wednesday January 25, 2023 from 2:00PM until 9:00PM in the Parsons Mortuary Chapel. Visitation will continue on Thursday January 26, 2023 from 10:00AM until time of funeral service in the Parsons Mortuary Chapel. Funeral services will be held on Thursday January 26, 2023 at 1:00PM in the Parsons Mortuary Chapel with burial to follow in the Lexington City Cemetery in Lexington, TN.
