Shirley Collett

Mrs. Shirley Collett, age 77, of Darden, TN passed away Tuesday October 21, 2025, at Saint Thomas West Hospital in Nashville, TN.

She is survived by her husband, Jessie "Bud" Collett of Darden, TN; sons, John "Bubba" Cox of Horseshoe Lake, AR, Donnie Wayne (Labreeska) Cox of Savannah, TN, Clay (Ginger) Collett of Parsons, TN, and Danny Ray (Devin) Collett of Centerville, TN; daughter, Dawn (Josh) Henson of Scotts Hill, TN; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren. 

She is preceded in death by her parents, Belle & Bob Hayes; daughter, Tammy Lynn Cox; brothers, Robert Jr. Hayes, Dennis Hayes, and Larry "Bud" Hayes; sisters, Mildred Thomas, Carolyn Baker, Betty Jo Barham, and Marie Gilbert.

Visitation for Mrs. Collett will be held on Thursday Oct. 23, 2025, from 10:00AM until 8:00PM at the Beacon Church of Christ. Visitation will continue on Friday Oct. 24, 2025, from 10:00AM until time of funeral service at the Beacon Church of Christ. Funeral services will be held on Friday Oct. 24, 2025, at 2:00PM at the Beacon Church of Christ in Beacon, TN with burial to follow in the Wesson's Chapel Cemetery in Sugar Tree, TN.
