Thomas Jonathan "Sunshine" Jackson Obituary

Mr. Thomas Jonathan "Sunshine" Jackson, age 44 of Decaturville, TN passed away on Saturday January 10, 2026, at Jackson Madison County Hospital in Jackson, TN.

Jonathan loved to cook, listen to music, and spend time playing his Xbox. Above all, he loved his dog, "Cupcake", more than anything. Their bond was truly inseparable-wherever he went, "Cupcake" went, and whenever he ate, "Cupcake" ate right alongside him. He had the biggest heart, and if anyone ever needed anything, he was the one you could always call. He was selfless, loyal, and loved deeply.

He is survived by his mother, Penny Flanigan of Parsons, TN; father, James Jackson of Decaturville, TN; sisters, Misty (Joey) Roberson of Parsons, TN and Crystal (Gary) Hicks of Perry Co. TN; nephews, Zack Hicks, Brent Hicks, and Jesse Hicks; nieces, Katie Tucker, Allison Pirtle, Raven Pevahouse, and Brittany Pevahouse; 16 great nieces and nephews; his beloved dog "Cupcake"; he is also survived by several extended family members and friends.
