Walter Doyle Hickson Jr.

Mr. Walter Doyle Hickson Jr. age 73, of Holladay, TN passed away on Saturday July 12, 2025, at Jackson Madison County Hospital in Jackson, TN.

Walter was preceded in death by his father, Walter Doyle Hickson Sr. and mother, Ann Lagenour, his brother Jim Porzio and sister Judy Taylor.

He leaves behind a loving wife, Jill Rushing Hickson, sister Theresa Carpenter, and numerous nephews, nieces and grandchildren.

Walter was a hard-working family man and a man of great faith with a strong belief in GOD. Walter was a long-time member of New Hope Baptist Church in Decaturville.

Visitation for Mr. Hickson will be held on Tuesday July 15, 2025, from 9:00AM until time of funeral service. Funeral services will be held Tuesday July 15, 2025 at 11:00AM in the Parsons Mortuary Chapel with burial to follow in the Cedar Hill Cemetery.
