Wanda G. Emmons Bawcum

Mrs. Wanda E. Bawcum age 75 of Bath Springs, TN. Passed away Friday Dec. 17, 2021 at AHC Westwood Senior Living in Decaturville, TN.

She was born November 7, 1946 in Corinth Mississippi a daughter of Jim Tom and Sara Jeanette Emmons (Wardlow)

She graduated from Parsons High School where she met her future husband. Junior and Wanda were married in Parsons on April 16, 1965.

Over the years she loved following her children to sporting events and sneaking away to fish with Jr. whenever they could. She spent countless hours outside gardening then canning along side Jr. They were members of Decaturville First Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband of 56 years; Jr. Bawcum of Bath Springs, TN, Sons; Art (Diana) Bawcum of Bath Springs, TN, Jim Bawcum of Ingalls, IND, Daughters; Susan (Brian) Bunchanan of Water Valley, MISS, Tina Courtright (Darrel) of Lexington, TN, Brother; Tommy (JoAnn) Emmons of Collierville, TN

She has 8 grandchildren; Will and Zach Buchanan, Kristen Courtright, Shawn Courtright, Ryan Courtright, Haden Bawcum, Shelby Bawcum, and Jackson Bawcum. She also had 1 Great Grandchild.

She is preceded in death by her Mother; Sarah Wardlow Emmons, Father; Jim Tom Emmons, Sister; Sara Wyand.

Visitation with the Bawcum family will be held on Tuesday December 21, 2021 from 10:00AM until time of funeral service at Decaturville First Baptist Church. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday December 21, 2021 at 2:00PM at the Decaturville First Baptist Church with burial to follow in the Parsons City Cemetery in Parsons, TN.  Bro.
