Wanda Marie Bates

Mrs. Wanda Marie Bates age 86 of Parsons, TN passed away on Saturday November 29, 2025, at AHC Decatur County in Parsons, TN.

She is survived by her daughters, Pam Smith of Parsons, TN and Donna Gaffney (Patrick) of O’Fallon, MO; brother, Gordon DeLong; grandchildren, Stephen Gaffney and Ryan Gaffney (Samantha); great granddaughter Maddie Gaffney; sister-in-law, Ruth Ann Hearington.

She is proceeded in death by her husband, Hobert Bates; parents, Cecil and Velma DeLong; sister, Almeda Hudson.

Visitation for Mrs. Bates will be on Wednesday December 3, 2025, from 9:00AM until time of service.   Funeral services will be held on Wednesday December 3, 2025, at 1:00PM in the chapel of Parsons Mortuary with burial to follow in the Bunches Chapel Cemetery.
