Wayne Lyles

Mr. Wayne Lyles, age 59, of Parsons, TN passed away on Monday October 13, 2025, at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.

Wayne was a devoted spouse, father, and grandfather whose love for family and simple joys made life brighter for everyone around him. He especially cherished spending time outdoors – camping with his family, fishing on peaceful days, and creating memories that will last a lifetime. Wayne also loved his trips to Tunica with his spouse, where they shared laughter and good times with friends. He took so much pride in his 26 years of dedicated service with the City of Parsons, where his hard work and loyalty earned the respect of all who knew him. Wayne’s kindness, humor, and love for life will be deeply missed, but his spirit will live on in the hearts of those who were blessed to know him.

He is survived by his spouse of 32 years, Penny Scott. Three daughters Alyssa Brittain; Keisha (Trevor) Blair; Amber (Jacob) Lyles. One son Jake Lyles. Five grandchildren Jaelyn Pierce, Caiden Greene, Harper Blair, Kynsleigh Cagle, & Brody Cagle. Three sisters Judy Woods, Vicky (Roger) Parrish, & Dian (Robert) Gobelet. Three brothers Tracy (Amy) Lyles, Jerry Lyles, & Johnny Lyles.
 

He is preceded in death by his parents Faye & Charles Lyles and two brothers Bobby & Junior Lyles. Son-in-law Austin Greene.

Visitation for Mr. Lyles will be held on Wednesday October 15, 2025, from 10:00AM until time of funeral service at Parsons Mortuary Chapel. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday October 15, 2025, at 2:00PM in the Parsons Mortuary Chapel with burial to follow in the Crossroads Cemetery in Parsons, TN.
