Wilma S. Hicks

Mrs. Wilma S. Hicks age 76, of Parsons, TN passed away on Sunday March 30, 2025, at her home in Parsons, TN. 

She is survived by her husband, Dan Hicks of Parsons, TN; sons, Mark (Tracy) Hicks of Danville, AL and Charlie (Joy) Hicks of Parsons, TN; daughter, Shelley (Johnny) Coonrod of Parsons, TN; brothers, Carl (Carolyn) Wheat of Bath Springs, TN and Clifford Wheat of Parsons, TN; grandchildren, Kristen (Michael) Fricks, Colton (Ashlyn) Hicks, Clancy Hicks, Gabriel (Nila) Hicks, Zachary Hicks, Derek (Tina) Hicks, Nicole (Glyn) Adams, Nathanial (Shana) Maness, Joshua (Faith) Maness; great grandchildren, Gracie Fricks, Natalie Fricks, Preston Hicks, Ella Hicks, Easton Adams, and Everett Adams; several Nieces, Nephews, and a host of extended family members. 

She is preceded in death by her parents, Alice Elizabeth Wheat & Silas Wheat; son Johnny Wayne Hicks; brothers, Willie Wheat and Travis "Stoney" Wheat; sisters, Marie Still, Kathleen Delong, Mary Parsons, and June Woodworth.

Visitation with the Hicks family will be held on Tuesday, April 1, 2025, from 3:00PM until 9:00PM at Parsons Mortuary. Visitation will continue on Wednesday, April 2, 2025, from 10:00AM until time of funeral services. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 2, 2025, at 2:00PM in the Parsons Mortuary Chapel with burial to follow in the Campground Cemetery in Decaturville, TN.
